AI audit
AI audit: before you invest in AI, know where it will pay off.
We review with your team how you work today, which tools and data you have, and which risks you’re taking. You get a clear map: where AI saves you time or money, where it isn’t worth it, and where to start.
Talk about your caseIn short
An AI audit is a review of a company’s processes, tools and data to identify where artificial intelligence brings real savings, what risks it involves (data protection, the EU AI Act, vendor lock-in) and which project should come first. BL Diseno carries it out with the client’s team and delivers it as a prioritised report.
What we review
Processes
The most time-consuming tasks, walked through with the people who do them: volume, frequency, errors and bottlenecks.
Tools
What you already pay for (often including unused AI features) and how it all connects.
Data
Where information lives, what state it’s in and which parts are sensitive.
Risk and compliance
Data protection, your obligations as a user under the EU AI Act, and unmanaged use of AI tools by your team.
What you get
- A map of opportunities ranked by estimated savings, effort and risk.
- What we advise against doing, and why: avoiding a project that doesn’t pay off is also a result.
- A concrete first project, with scope and timeline, ready to run with us or with whoever you choose.
- Guidance on safe use of AI for your team, also useful for the AI literacy obligation.
Who it’s for
For management teams who hear about AI every week and want a concrete answer for their own business, not a course. For firms and SMEs where staff already use AI tools on their own and things need putting in order. And for anyone who has had a bad experience with a tech project and wants to decide based on facts.
How we work with you
- 1
We listen
A first conversation, with no commitment, to understand the problem the way your team actually lives it. The fix is often simpler than it looks, and if so, we’ll tell you.
- 2
We propose
Fixed scope, timeline and price, in writing, before we start. We look for what makes sense for both sides: no open-ended hours and no surprises on the invoice.
- 3
We build
Short delivery cycles: you see real progress every week and test it on your own cases, not on a staged demo.
- 4
We stay
Maintenance, adjustments and direct support from the same person who built it. Everything is documented and in your name.
Frequently asked questions
What is an AI audit?
It’s a review that identifies where artificial intelligence can save your business time or money, what risks it brings and where to start. It’s based on how your team works today, your tools and your data, and ends with prioritised recommendations.
Do I have to comply with the EU AI Act if I only use ChatGPT?
As a business using AI you have some obligations, such as helping your staff build sufficient AI knowledge and being transparent when a client interacts with an AI system. Our guide to the AI Act covers this in detail; for your specific situation, it’s best to consult a lawyer.
Does the audit commit me to hiring you for the project?
No. The report and the proposed first project are yours, and you can carry them out with whoever you like. If you choose to do it with us, we start from a diagnosis that’s already done.
How long does an AI audit take?
It depends on the size of the team and the number of processes. In the initial proposal we set out in writing the scope, the interviews needed, the delivery date and the fixed price.
